Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Last run of 2023, 9pm, dodging the rain. Surface water on beach and trails failing to absorb the rainfall. Still, the fireworks proved a useful diversion as, not for the first time, I questioned my sanity! ;) 50 min.

Good health, prolonged fitness and great running to all! :)

Not as fast as I'd have liked. New year, same old legs.

Opted to do 4 miles or so locally killing fetchpoint bugs instead of local park run. Run was pleasant enough as i get back into running slowly.

Alas Vrap went there and if i had known i'd of gone to park run instead. It's barely down the road from home after all ;)

We had a bit of a blizzard, with wind gusting to 20 m/s, so any route I could find was snowed over. I wasn't expecting any prompt ploughing, it being NYD, so I had a very short 2.4 km but still earned the brownie pts. Just my luck, a plough started doing the rounds when I finished.

Well run everyone

Monday was the Cleethorpes NYD 10k. Very happy with 40:14. Quickest 10k since Feb 2020 and my quckest as a MV50. Managed a WAVA 10k PB as well. A nice start to the year and my marathon training block for a April marathon

A belated happy new year to all

Managed to do 5 km but the snow and wind continue. I heard the snowplugh do our cul-de-sac at about 1 am. We have a good crop of Nordic broccoli this morning 😉
