10pm. Rain started on cue, fresh SW wind, soggy ground by the lakes, so I got wet top and tail. Skirted the Freeport boundary and stayed well up the beach, with a building high tide on my left. Slowed by soft sand, so skipped onto the prom for a simpler [easier!] route back to my start point. 62 min. |

Great running recently folks. I’ve been missing again due to bugs and the likes. Out today for first run of December. 5K in cold but ok conditions. Very happy to get running again. |

Today was a horrid wet threshold session at about 3C. Still, it was a nice change not to need to use spikes, since the rain has got rid of the last traces of icy snow.

Had a chilly start down in the trees but it was sunny out on the hills which made for a pleasant 10 miler

Raptors Claws are coming to town
Good to get a 90 minute run in my log at the start of the week Windy, but not raining. I'll take that as a small victory.

Good run this morning, hopefully getting back into it and ready for the New Year. A few days off work should allow me out a bit more, with a bit more variety due to daytime running |

Monday run was the run I should have done on Sunday A nice 12 miles in the evening. Ran to heart rate and kept in the desired range. Tried out the headtorch I got for Christmas nice and bright. Comfy on the head Core work and yoga to finish off the evening |

Pleasing outcomes, riggys99 I was talking to the gym owner (Former MR GB, EFBB) who said that training to HR should be the norm. Too late for me, I fear! The Polar HR kit 30 yrs ago was *ahem* intermittent in operation.
