Tough due to the fact I couldn't get enough air into my lungs, but a new route and 9.5 miles on the board.

Today's run was mostly cracking and very slow, slowness due to a niggle with my back that has been playing up for a week. Dogs mostly well behaved. No one about, grand total of four people seen over nearly 3 hours. Cracking views even with a slight haze, not too hot & not too cold, just cracking.

First run in the rain for years.... and I didn't dissolve!!! 3.9 miles with a good friend in light rain and perfect temperature. I probably wouldn't have maintained the pace had I been running solo. It's a regular route that I do but never tire of the changing scenery. It's not photo shoot stunning, just really nice fields and hedgerows etc with a few hundred yards of urban at beginning and end.

My 31st parkrun (Colchester Castle). Didn't feel great doing my warm up but did a nice steady 25.14 😀 A bit on the chilly side but nice and sunny.

Brilliant :) 10k with the Resolution Runners - pacing to a negative spilt & 65 minute finish time; a few tears of pride at the end from some!

Really happy with my parkrun effort. Perhaps a sub-21 is just around the corner on a fast course?

Wow! Blowing a gale up here in Nuuk (aka: hilliest town in the World). I reversed my usual run to profit from the wind direction on the uphills. This meant that I had to walk on some of the downhills as the wind was so strong I could hardly move against it; but it also meant I was able to run all the way up the 1km hill of death to the airport without stopping or walking for the first time ever. In 5.39min! (It normally takes me about 7minutes, including walking breaks.)

Quite astonishing to have faster splits going uphill than down!
