[thanks, Swittle. I've got an exercise bike at home so I think I'll start on that slowly to keep my legs moving and try not to lose too much endurance.]

4.63 miles when I was going to do nearly 9 😞😢. Horrible leg ache which was just too much for this southern softy to take. Wondering if maybe it's shin splints....

v boring 45 minutes on the treadmill as I'm still choked up and scared to run outside and make things worse. Off to Greenland tomorrow though so I'll have to run outside; and the weather will be worse too :(

13 miles at 8:41 pace. Happy enough with that as I had to stop my long run early last week.

1/1 acknowledgement/good morning from other runners, and 0/1 from known ignorant runners who are too full of their own self-importance. The latter being the only thing that I didn't enjoy this morning!
