Just 4 miles for me. On the tail end of a chesty cough so my breathing is impaired.
Haven't been able to run in a few days so this was just to see if I could loosen things up and I really needed to get out.

stupid hard! After running around Nuuk, thinking if I can run there, I can run anywhere, today I faced the Icelandic headwind/gale. just exhausting. I turned after 10.5k, so had a tailwind but was so tired by then that there was limited pleasure in it. Then I had to hike up a 2km hill to get to the main road, then run down the very main road (ring road of Iceland) back to meet doesn't-tri-boy. I spotted a path and decided to jump across a short strip of snow to get there (and away from the traffic) to find that said strip of snow concealed a river. Knee deep in freezing water! I had the headwind against me now when doesn't-tri-boy appeared in the car and saved me, 1km short of my planned run and very welcome.

Huge plate of spaghetti matriciana currently in prep (by doesn't-tri-boy) while I catch up on fetch and duolingo. ow ow ow my legs.

14 and a bit miles after a week of being off sick and having the tail end of man flu with poor fuelling meant this was much harder than it needed to be. Still, got my target LSR pace and good prep for the Warwick half in 2 weeks.

update - hit by novovirus so at least that explains crappy run. and at least i got lsr in before it hit me. [crawls back under blanket to whimper and shiver some more until the exigencies force me up again.]

Just ran 6 miles. Needed to clear my head after a frustrating few days. Trying to build some flat pack furniture from Homebase didn't help. Weather is great and I took it easy. It was a nice run.

4 miles on ridiculously tired legs was hard on any form of incline but glad I got the miles in!
