I don't think I've ever made it to 100% heat adapted before! Shame we fly home tomorrow...

Iโ€™m back to strained!
Your fitness is decreasing, and HRV status indicates that your body may be struggling to recover.
Turn things around with a focus on overall health, including stress, nutrition and rest

Rosehip
haven't run since Thursday, have a stinking cold which is making my old-lady joints sore.

Garmin says
RHR -43 (up a bit)
TS - peaking (it's been productive for a month)
TR - High
HRV - balanced (but dropping)
BB - charged to 88

daily suggestion - 35 minutes with 15 at threshold (which it says is 10:10 pace and I doubt that v much) - which ain't happening!

Velociraptor
I expect my Training Load to hit Low in the next few days as I start actually tapering rather than just talking about tapering. Garmin Connect "knows" that I have a marathon in 7 days. If I was a gambler I'd put my money on my status changing to Recovery rather than Peaking.

V'rap, I've told mine I have a 5km race this Saturday coming and another two weeks after that, it's altered me from Peaking to Recovery! Ah well, one day of peaking was better than none, I suppose! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Maybe I ought to put a race in to see what happens! ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Currently my stats are....

Body Battery - 45 now and was 69 when I first got up. The app says..."Your Body Battery increased 41 points while you slept. Make sure you pace yourself to avoid bottoming out." Okay can cope with that. Don't plan on doing much else today.

VO2 max - superior 47
Training status - "maintaining" - High Aerobic Shortage
Load - optimal 766
Sleep Score - fair for 7h 2m "plenty of deep" sleep despite registering that I was awake 3 times during the night.

HR - resting - 46
Today's training suggestion - "base 1:38:00 10:25/mi" It was too windy for that!

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
