BB 100, and I got a gigantic HRV last night and am now balanced again. Watch suggests 37 minutes at 11.55mm, which is insufficient to squish my Fetchpoint bug today.

I noticed that you didn't get a power measurement yesterday, Pix. Is it the Fenix 6 you have? A quick flick through the internet suggests that you may need to use an external accessory (a HRM chest strap or Garmin foot pod) in addition to having barometer function on the watch to get a power number.

And now I need to avoid getting bogged down in other people's geekery on the Garmin forums and go out for a run.

The thing I'm reading specifies a chest strap, and also a running power CIQ data field on your active sports profile.

I suppose what really matters is whether running power can be modified, how to modify it (I believe this may involve lots of HILLS), and whether training objectives (getting faster/running further, presumably) will benefit more from targeting factors other than raw power.

having never seen/played with power before and only acknowledged it as a figure on the bike it's all new to me so a something to learn!

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
