Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

My Garmin seems to have forgotten about my ultra at the weekend and suggested I did an hour threshold run.

Ha, jog on.

BB increasing a little each time I sleep, it bottomed out several days in a row.

RHR is a few beats above normal still.

I'm finding this data fascinating.

Garmin always underestimates the recovery time after a long race. It wanted me to run threshold less than a week after my marathon. It doesn't understand the impact of long races.

I'm maintaining, training load is in the optimal range, recovery time left after the virtual mile yesterday is 13 hours. I'm 12% acclimated to heat now (after a few days over 22°C)
RHR was 41 the last couple of days but is 47 today, probably because of the harder run and bike yesterday.

BB at 78 from 25, apparently, I'm still sleeping 😆. I'm going to tell Garmin that I'm awake. 6:48 hours, a bit shorter than recommended but still got a sleep score of 79.

I’m ‘rested and ready’, apparently, after 7 and a bit hours of ‘excellent’ sleep.

Don’t think I’ve had an excellent score before, not sure feel like I had any better sleep than usual, though.

Load is a bit low and as per I’m maintaining.

Suggestion is another 43 minutes base - need longer than that, I think!

I've had 35 minutes at 11.50mm/30 minutes at 75W for about the ninetieth day in a row. Otherwise the gadget is reasonably content with me. Maintaining, load Optimal, Chronic Load drifting upwards. Which is all how it should be.

Tipsku, I don't think the 745 takes races into account at all when it comes to suggestions.

Had another 90 mins or so sleep, Garmin remains unimpressed with training readiness and suggests 28 minutes recovery run.

I have had some strange readings last few weeks.
100 BB almost every morning.
HRV too high and therefore unbalanced?!
And a few beats lower RHR for one or two weeks.
Its getting back to more normal levels now.
But strange, in a good way I think.
I have felt good during this time.

I wonder why RHR isn’t in the morning report.

Bowman 🇸🇪 I too am getting 100 BB most mornings and well over HRV therefore unbalanced for a couple of weeks

I've had a few days were RHR is below normal too

I questioned it last week on here. I'm wondering if it's a new diet (no caffeine no alcohol for a month) losing weight and getting fitter

About This Thread

Maintained by EvilPixie
According to my Garmin this morning my body battery was at just 41 and I was "strained"
I have been strained for most days in the last 2 weeks
My body battery has also been low

So today it suggested a threshold run of up to an hour!

What's your Garmin say?
