I have an Epix 2 I picked up cheaply & it's a really decent watch, just doesn't have the battery life for the upper end of what I do. Going rate is a bit more than the F255 (though if Nellers might be interested in a second hand one that's been well treated and not that heavily used?)

Mr J
Still using my 12 year old 310xt. Upgrade might be nice but do not see the point. If it is not broke....

My Garmin VO2max guesstimate has dropped about 5 points in the last two weeks.
It feels like it wants me to stop running.

Only managed 1 week of gentle running in the last 2 and my vo2 estimate hasn't changed. My 5k estimate did get a minute added.

VO2 Max calculations are different depending on which generation of watch you have.

Actually 1 week in 4. It's a forerunner 55.

VO2 Max will only change with new info, predictions will improve/ decline based on training load.

57.5 Degrees of Pain
My Garmin VO2 max dropped 5 points over about 6 months of virtual inactivity after being pretty highly trained. Which seems fair.

The Fetch calculator seems to think I still have a great VO2 max, the fact that I'm slow is just down to weight gain.

With activities it will drop even if infrequent I believe, it's with absolutely nothing it doesn't move. I had 4 weeks of no activity that it could calculate VO2 Max from due to injury and it didn't move. I'm now walking but not running and my VO2 Max is down 6 from the point I stopped running. Some will be fitness but think some is simply walking reading lower.

I have been recording walks, maybe I just wasn't fit enough in the first place.
