I'm always on a suggested training, often following a course, with headphones from iphone, and watch prompts coming via phone to headphones. Often it seems to get a backlog of HR prompts, turn prompts, lap times, etc. They stop for a while then come in a burst. I put it down to earphones - they are Shokz Openrun Pro. No real reason. I have turned off turn prompts on navigation and it hasn’t happened recently.

Interestingly, vs your experience, it was fine with an iPad in a backpack (I was really keen to work out what the core problem was). I ended up upgrading the phone, partly because it wasn’t even getting security updates any more, and that didn’t help either. Think it was a firmware update that sorted it in the end.

Santa Badgey 8 Dec 9:57am, 8 Dec 2024 17,552 posts	0 Santa Badgey I was using Shokz Openrun, but other headphones had the same problem, so I don't think it's the answer (Sennheiser and Earfun, the Earfun had worse issues with AptX but no difference from the others on AAC and SBC)

I think I've had the issue when I've put Garmin Coach workouts on the treadmill, but my normal routine is open locker, put earbuds away, then notice I've not saved my workout. I had all the usual audio cues during the workout - telling me what was coming up a few seconds beforehand - and had the earbuds playing music before I'd gone into the workout on my watch.
