How the new app design ever got approved as an improvement is beyond me. Everything other than the most facile info is harder to access.

It's not working for me anyway. Fortunately I normally don't look at it!

Thought it was just me who hated the new app I have been quite vocal in my feedback during beta. |

Me too, Rosehip. I tried beta and switched back to the classic view because it didn't work for me on Firefox. I think I could get used to it on the phone but on the desktop, it doesn't look good - at least as far as I can tell from screenshots that people posted in the Garmin forums because I can't see it. The forums are up in arms against the new look. It's designed for phones and tablets and is pretty inefficient for web browser. Also, I dislike the fact that I can only display 8 tiles in the At a glance part. I used to see so much more in the 'my day' tab. It's a bad design that isn't as flexible as the previous one. For everything else, I have to look for it. |

Great read, Oranj. That article is spot on. I'm rarely on twitter these days, only for the Barkley and for a few other special events. I'm also on an indefinite leave from Facebook because it has become so full of ads and a newsfeed irrelevant to my interests that it's annoying and time-consuming to use. I wasted too much time looking for things that actually interested me that I just don't bother anymore. Garmin looks to go down a similar route now with the attempt to make one version of their app that is pushed out on all platforms, whether that's suitable for the format of each platform or not. |

I don’t like the new app either but then I don’t like anything new so it’s hard to tell how good (or not) it is

Sigh
I don't like the new app (or the new Web version), instead they could have fixed existing glitches (eg training readiness still only updates once a day on the app, rather than refresh the data from the watch) - but instead they've added new glitches (the dynamic target hydration now only shows update when you click on it, the app widget view only shows original target - both show the logged consumption correctly, so at first glance you may have met your target, if you click through, you haven't). However, glad there's still the option to turn off sleep coach, which is utter bollocks. |

I switched the beta testing version and went back to the classic page .But of course that is not an option I really do not like the new version at all.
