I think it's been designed for road running, or trail running with very buffed out trails, ie nice fine gravel. It will take no account (as it cannot know) of how rough the underfoot conditions are, and as we know when trail running one 5% incline can be faster/slower than the next 5% incline depending on how stony/rough and/or muddy/slippy the trail is.

If they are a different weight it will see them as a different person, if they are similar it will think they are you. You can switch between users by tapping on the side of the scales but I think you have to add to a user already associated with the scales.
