Yeah..... I think I wanted to do that too, but I have little puny wrists. I gave it time but the jump in size and weight from the 935 was just too much. I've ordered a 7s to try |

I had my 6x on my right wrist for a few days after scratching my left wrist so it hurt to wear it there. I don't notice it on the left wrist but it was very clear that it had taken a bit of getting used to! Felt monstrous on the other wrist!

Intrigued by the recent battery discussion I thought I would make a note on my watch usage since I last charged it, as I have not done that before. It is a Fenix 6X Pro, and I charged it on the morning of 3rd Feb. In the following 8 days I have ran 67 miles and done a couple of Zwift sessions where my HR is broadcast from the watch to Zwift. When running I have a HR strap and Stryd footpod connected, and on one of the runs I had the map/route displayed through the run, and on occasion I interacted with the watch to move the map. I wear it 24/7 and have everything turned on, except I don’t have it set to receive text messages etc. On runs where it is dark, I have it so that the screen is constantly lit. There has also been a certain amount of faffing as I put a new data field on it and spent some time messing around with that. I came back from my run today and will probably charge it as it is now on 15%, but I know I could get another 10-15 mile run in tomorrow if I wanted to and it would probably be fine. Not sure if this is standard or not, but I am quite happy with that really as charging once every week or so is fine for me, and it means that if I go away for a long weekend, I can charge it before I travel and don’t have to worry about it. |

I've seen several listings like this one one ebay recently; ebay.co.uk some with, some without a replacement battery. Has anyone ever heard of someone successfully (or otherwise) self-replacing the back/battery on a Fenix?

It does seem very tempting to get a Fenix 6 Pro at the moment but I have a distinct feeling of solving a problem I don't actually have - other than the 245 Optical HR being basically a random high number generator.

Sigh
I wonder if Flanci could do patterns based on our Garmin training status history? I particularly like the 'peaking' purple wedged between two slices of 'unproductive' orange. Very pagan. |

If Flanci did tights in the pattern of my training status history I'd be tempted especially as they do longer length IIRC 🤣 |
