Weath Jul 2021 1:35pm, 25 Jul 2021 731 posts	0 Weath Anyone know how (if possible) to change the default fields that are automatically imported when using 'Race an Activity' on a Fenix 6? The default view when pulling up a historic activity to run against is adding a map amongst other unrequired (i.e. duplicated) fields that I already have showing under the parent activity. I can obviously trim down some of my fields by creating another 'slimline' activity at the parent level to use, but really would like to get rid of having the map if at all possible.

I know Fetch splits shows stopped time. I'm presuming the actual elapsed time when stop was pressed initially is recorded but not shown? Is there any way I can see it on Fetch or on the Garmin fit file, or elsewhere? Would like to know the actual time for the last 200 of my session, lol.
quimby Jul 2021 4:15pm, 25 Jul 2021 4,867 posts	0 quimby I'm currently making grumpy noises on both Reddit and the Garmin forums about the fact that the 6.10 software update for the Vivoactive 4S has removed the countdown buzzes to the change in steps in a workout. It used to do 5 short buzzes as you lead up to a change, then one long buzz when you are meant to change. The short buzzes have gone. For a watch where the buzzes are not as strong as I remember from the old watches (201, 310XT), and has no accompanying beep, this really is quite shit.

Curiosity got the better of me and I’ve popped it on charge. It seems to be charging quite happily. What are the chances of it being of any use do you reckon? Cant believe it will sync with much now, although I do have the original Ant+. Is there an antique Garmin market? 😂 Got a birthday coming up and can’t decide on the F245 or F55. Any advice.
Badger Aug 2021 10:39pm, 19 Aug 2021 14,101 posts	0 Badger It should still work with Garmin Express, I synced my 310xt with it not that long ago. It was pretty frustrating getting it to work though! 245 I reckon, it’s a fair bit more versatile and the battery life is better.
