Hi EvilPixie well done for setting up the virtual 5k races and thread. Bowman 🇸🇪 was correct about setting them up for the first of the month. I made the mistake of setting the first virtual mile for the end of the month but learnt from that error.
I shall be joining in occasionally too as our local parkrun (if I manage to get) comes up short due to the trees and u turns.

These are a great idea, EvilPixie. They remind me of the virtual 5ks Sigh put on Fetch during lockdown. I will certainly try to fit these in.

That’s brilliant Pix 👏. I did parkrun in 32:09 but my 5k was 31:25, I will log that as my virtual 5k unless I get a quicker 5k before the end of the month 😁

I am doing a 30 min tempo run so may use my fastest 5k from that to put a time down for this month

I’ve added my fastest benchmark from the month, and will update it when I get a chance to do a faster attempt.

I’ll join in too. I did my local parkrun today which always comes in slightly longer than 5k so I’ll use the benchmark 5k from that as my August 5k.

Done. Used my parkrun time which was 32min04 and my fastest time this year.

Todays parkrun was definitely not my fastest!

I might also find a benchmark for august so far and put that down for now
