That's exciting for you today Mrs S. Hoping it isn't too much longer until you can try it out with a short trip away :)

Yes GM, I have no idea when that might be! I think we will probably sleep in it in the town somewhere to have a go 😀

A friend of mine has bought a transit connect with the intention of converting it.

He has absolutely zero skills, don't worry I've pointed out the dubious wisdom of embarking on a project your are not equipped to undertake at length, so I imagine it'll be me doing the clever stuff.

Any tips for the small end of things?

I’d recommend that your friend looks at as many conversions as possible and compile a list of “must haves”, “nice to haves”, and “not fussed either ways”.

Went to see that van. Lovely van. Not a pick of rust on it, low mileage, log book VIN matches the window, brakes in good condition, starts no problem. He took us for a spin, and it feels OK. Full year mot and newly serviced. 2 new all season tyres on front, back two will need replacing. Clean engine bay.

Very good conversion too. Plenty storage space, comfy bed, very easy to deploy the bed, front seat swivels.

Still a wee bit hesitant because of the low bhp and age of the van, but I do like it.

Looks nice, Ronnie. Professional conversion too. If it was me, I'd be thinking about a pop top roof to give a bit more living space, but many people don't feel the need for that.
