Rosehip Mar 2022 11:45am, 8 Mar 2022 24,423 posts	0 Rosehip Just got an email telling me that oil price quotes are suspended and if we order any it will be charged at the price on the day - even if it takes a couple of weeks to get a delivery. Toss up now between turning the boiler of to conserve oil until the rice stabilises - and the price of leccy if we use the immersion heater for hot water. Don’t mind not having the heating on, we have logs for the fire if we want the sitting room warming up - and plenty of jumpers and blankets.

Lammo's guess of what temporary means is as good as anyone's, bearing in mind that anything beyond two years is "possibly never". I would fix now if anything on offer is even vaguely affordable. Shop around, of course.
