Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I didn't get an invite either. I guess as I'm in the neighbouring county to Muttley, I too am in the 'wrong' part of the country 🤣

I did the saver session. Dinner half an hour later than planned, it's no hardship.

I think the free electricity is in parts of East Anglia and the south east. So those of us in the south west are fresh out of luck.

I had my dinner earlier 😋. But an hour flies by so no real effort required.

If I can ask a question to your octopus people are they still good as people said a few years back.
Thinking of leaving Eon my smart meters don't work I've given them reasons why I don't want them to come and fix it. ( the gas people are changing the pipes and will move meter outside ) no point in doing anything till that happens

Overall I've been very happy with Octopus. However, as they've grown so quickly their customer service can be very varied (according to the Facebook groups I'm on) ; many CS advisers are excellent, but some of the more recent can misunderstand their own tariffs and give incorrect advice.
I've found contacting them via Twitter to be very effective - eg reply and issue resolved within 15 minutes (it's the only reason I've still got Twitter!)

I'm with Octopus and very happy with them. In the past I've been a serial switcher but I'd be very reluctant to leave Octopus. I am on a fixed tariff with no penalties should I decide to leave. My invoice is issued on the same day every month and promptly emailed to me and so far has been 100% accurate, smart meter works well.
