I got some for Christmas and only know how to stop! Maybe I should read the instructions too 😂

It's easy when you know how, EP 😆 I didn't realise there was a button on the left hand side which you can press to pause - that will be useful when I'm going in the shop and when people try to talk to me when I'm out 🤦‍♀️ Press once to pause and twice to ffwd. Remind me when I've forgotten.... :)

My newt is something that happened rather than something I did. I was late going out for my run, and when I got back at 6.30pm it was still (only just) daylight. Spring is on its way :) :) :)

I disassembled a chevy C10 truck bed today. That was a a first.

While we were working on the driveway I also caught my first whiff of fresh mown grass this year - and got rained on and hailed on and saw a rainbow, and got so warm in the sunshine at one point I was working in a crop top. Yay spring!

This is definitely a newt - my eldest stepson gave me a Mother’s Day card for the first time!

About This Thread

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
