Ohhh very odd here tonight hubby ha gone to bed leaving me up watching TV alone. I am still wired from the day although I often go to bed leaving him up but it’s weird the other way round. It’s not a new newt back in the old days he would go out with his mates I’d be home alone watching TV but it was rare and now a long time ago.

GG I often spend a whole day in the kitchen making curry base sauces, onion puree etc, and filling the freezer up. I love it and the house smells amazing and the currys taste so good.

In fact there are so many newts I want to mention - and I will do so later. But I have to get ready for my track-at-the-park session now and just have time to say MY newt of the day is from ages back. There were lots of goodies that day, but then there always are.

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
