I don’t think that would be ok at the surgery chrisity although I’m sure it’s fine in a non medical setting when you are SD anyway

My work surgery says face covering for patients, eg scarf. The nurse wears a proper mask. The admin staff don't wear any face covering, but the patient-facing reception are getting sneeze screens.

We will have our first socially distanced funeral on Tuesday for the oldest member of our family. My OH's aunt and the last of 11 children to go. I'm anticipating it to be the most traumatic family gathering we have ever had.

We decided on a totally unattended cremation for my FiL, which took place last Friday.

The alternative - maybe just my wife and I there with maybe a video link to other mourners- was too ghastly to contrmplate.

So, post Covid, we'll meet to celebrate his life properly.

I don't envy you the train journey LN - is your cough better?

My GP doesn't ask patients to wear masks, medical staff are in full PPE, admin behind a screen.

Not good with the short notice and added stress at what is obviously going to be a stressful time Serendippily, well done on rising to the challenge.

It will be my first time on public transport since lockdown but I think it's the fact that I don't know what to expect that's making me nervous.

My cough is nearly gone. Inhaler has worked miracles and I'm only using it once a day now :-)
