Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Well done to everyone who ran today. I guess like a lot of marathons, everything felt quite comfortable for the first half, then got progressively more difficult, and the last 8 miles was a sheer battle of wills to get round.

But it's done!

Sorry I didn’t catch up with many Fetchies - Pikelet had to put up with me jabbering away at her between miles 16 & 17. I saw Irontubs briefly around mile 21 (I think) and I bellowed at Autumnleaves on the hill up to mile 25 and she kindly ran with me to the top. I missed the flapjack but Sushi leapt out of her car in the carpark for a quick chat. I also spoke to Andrew in the carpark - I think he was a Fetch but I didn’t catch his Fetchname. Lovely to meet you all & sorry to miss the others.

I had the dream race and finished in 3:56:09 around 23 mins off my PB. Completely thrilled obvs. I may even blog 😬
