defo, I PBd there in 2014.....
It does undulate so isnt flatand does have a bit of a late tough hill...however I didnt find the undulations impacted my time last year or this...I wasnt aiming to PB this year due to some missed training, but I paced myself well for an 80 second negativesplit despite the late hills.

Good to hear Bazoaxe, Manchester is 2016 A race marathon so sounds like sensible pacing for latter stages is order of the day.

Lots of PBs there this year. It's not flat but is still a fast course. I've done Manchester twice, very flat but I enjoyed Chester more (probably influenced by my own pb there!). Come to the conclusion I like the change of a few ups and downs

ndellar, I think you are right, the undulations give variety and overall they even out somilesplts are rarely impacted bya hill...its only sandy land just after 24 that if it arrived at mile 2 would be fine but because its 2 to go it asks a few tough questions

Finally entered for 2016, 9 weeks to go and totally unprepared after a 40 mile ultra marathon 2 weeks ago. Mini training block it'll need to be in the pursuit for sub 3.10
