Good Autumn Marathon in the UK

Stevierobbo Jun 2011 3:30pm, 2 Jun 2011 2 posts	0 Stevierobbo Hi Folks, Trained hard for this years VLM and was aiming for a 3.30! This prediction based on training and a couple of good 20\'s times. It didn\'t happen and so i am now looking for a low key Autumn UK Marathon in which to redeem myself for the poor VLM performance. Can anyone recommend a good one? Thanks.

sprouty76 Jun 2011 4:15pm, 2 Jun 2011 377 posts	0 sprouty76 The only thing I'd say about Chester is that this is only the 2nd year, and it's a totally different course to last year which is presumably what was being reviewed. That's not to say it's bad, just something to bear in mind. It's Liverpools first this year.

I managed a very frustrating 3.55 in this years VLM...partly down to my own inexperience, but also as a result of feeling like i was tripping up over the runner in front of me all the time! Mablethorpe or Chester then! Thanks
