Good luck Jude, I am sure you will be fin on the day, even with dodgy foot. The adreneline and excitement of raceday will carry you through! I trust you are having a holiday to go with it?

Well, holiday-ish, 3 days before and 3 days after! then a day off when we get back... will be meeting up with friends who live in hong kong so will be great spending time with them although I anticipate being poor company beforehand!

Bad luck M4P sounds harsh.

I went out for a swift 18.5 miles yesterday. But went flying after only 2 miles. Turned a corner and my wheels just slid from beneath me the road was very slippy!! No damage to me or bike so I went on my way but took it a bit steadier.

Mud - those events are organised by a member of my club (Bedford Harriers), supposed to be quite good. Have a word with Night Jar as he has done a couple of the events I think.

how did you get on ML apart from the soreness?

I'm not at work tomorrow durbat but have to cycle home after dropping the car off to have some work done on it. Shame the weather will be bad as I was going to add about 25 miles onto the journey home.
