It is still grim! I have just been out to defrost one of our contractors who is filling in land drains... the poor man is frozen! Icey rain it is here, horrid!

It was raining a fair bit as I cycled home this evening and I found I had real trouble actually seeing properly, think it was a combination of rain getting in my eyes and the lack of daylight (I've cycled in the rain plenty of times before but only in the daytime, I'm new to this cyling-as-commuting thing). Does anyone else suffer from the same thing and have any advice? I'm a bit worried that next time I might run over one of the many random pedestrians who keep wandering across the roads I cycle along if I don't see them until too late.

Glasses are an essential part of my kit.

It was lovely here this morning if not a bit blowy when I had to ride home from dropping the car off, in fact it was too nice. Didn't think about my sun glasses when I left home as I was expecting it to be cloudy/raining but I had the opposite problem to Anne, low sun in my eyes!

ML - 5th! Well done great performance.

Anne: If you're on a budget or just tight fisted like me have a look at these
decathlon.co.uk
Cheap enough to bin if they get scratched, and better than chucking a pair of £140 oakleys in the bottom of your rucksack

Hi Biker types :)

If Santa were to bring me a new bike for christmas. :) cause i have been such a good girl :) I told him in my letter i would like to try a run-bike-run type event next year , so Santa would need to keep this in mind.

What would he bring?

Depends on whether you were planning to do on or off road run-bike-run, Mag.
