Good finish to the mens road race. Scheleck kept trying to attack, shelled a couple off the back, but then in the last K Cancellara bought it altogether taking it back to a group of 6 and Schleck had no chance to get a medal. Fair play to Spain though for Sanchez, they worked hard for it. |

Guys - a quick question. T'wife's just bought a new bike and I want to get some inner tubes as spares. I only noticed when we got it home that it's got 28 x 1 3/8 x 15/8 tyres - what does this translate to? I'd like car type valves otherwise we'll be into new pump territory as well. Cheers Oh, and now she's discovered there's a whole new world of accessories our there - is this good or bad? |

If you go to a LBS (local bike shop) and tell them the size tyre you have they will be able to point you in the right direction

I found that too, but if you don't scroll to the bottom, quite near the top it says: Inch 28x1 5/8 x 1 3/8 French 700x35c |

Cool! Cheers, guys. M4P - I only thought about it when I'd got home from the LBS :-/ And it's a hybrid thing with thin wheels which she likes very much and it solves what we're doing tomorrow |

Oh, and another question: instead of buying a road bike and spending lots of cash, i thought about getting some smooth tyres for my MTB - anyone any recommendations?
