Greg - race bike fr the Spediums? Just ordered my second set of GP4000 - love 'em. If you're not fussy abuot colour, Ribble have them super cheap right now if you're prepared to spend another £7 on your order to take it over £50... (girl logic I know!)

Hmmm... seems to be good if you are fussy about colour too as all are in stock right now!

Can't comment on Spediums GreP as I don't know too much about them. I think I'm going to put some Bontrager Hardcase on mine as my tyres need replacing.

How often should I be replacing my tyres?

yay M4P!!

Thanks for that idio! So there is no hard and fast rule that you should replace them every so many miles or timespan (i.e. like you should replace your trainers if they're too old as they're not as cushioned)?

I replace tyres *exactly* like I replace my trainers - viz. when they are old or I'm really bored with them and feeling flush :)

For those that like watching cycling don't forget the Olympic road races this weekend.

Mens starts at 4am BST Saturday, race live on Eurosport 7.15am to finish. Or the whole race on BBC red button service.
The ladies race starts at 7am BST Sunday, live on Eurosport at 9.30am. Not sure about the BBC red button.

At 240-odd KM it's a long course, but check the profile out...... velonews.com
