From my very limited bike shopping experience, it really does seem that you get what you pay for. Viking sounds like a bit of a cheapy makey - maybe better to get a similar priced bike from one of the big makes, like Trek, as you'll probably get the best kit possible

My company use Halfords RT, they can get almost any brand you want. I got a carbon fibre Focus from Wiggle through them.

good point B.B. Really Cliffy? trouble is in my branch the assistants wouldn't tell me that, they would just look at me blankly. ( I wonder if its me sometimes maybe I give off vibes that I think they are too young) I have missed the window now for the c2w scheme as I was dubious about it ( I don't trust my employers to put my salary back up when the scheme is finished) but it may be worth bearing in mind for the next one. |

Yes, you have to phone Halfords head office to order though, they deliver it to your local store - apart from Trek, for some strange reason you have to pick them up from a Trek depot. I was thinking of buying a trek before I went for the Focus.

RT Halfords can get you any bike you want so I am told. We are using Edinburgh Bike Shop for our scheme. All employees choose the bike they want I pay for them on company credit card them send in claim forms job done. |
