I love cake, biscuits, puddings etc but rarely have things like jam on toast say. I’m not sure what I’d even do with lemon curd

I have leftover egg whites so I'm going to make meringue - I think that will go well with lemon curd and whipped cream.

I’d forgotten but the canteen where I used to work had fantastic lemon meringue from time to time. It was fantastic 🍋 ⛰

Oooo lemon meringue pie, now you’re talking
Homemade lemon frequently just requires a spoon and an open mouth in his house (by me at least ) but you could easily use in tarts, as the ‘jam’ layer in layered cakes, as a cake topping mixed with cream cheese....

Did you not use the egg whites in your lemon curd GM? I use Delia's easy recipe. Home made lemon curd is lovely and you've made me want some now! It's nice stirred through plain/Greek yogurt too.
Lovely that LittleD baked Linds. Nice to have cake made by someone else, one of th ethings I'm missing at the minute.

I might have to put yeast in my dough and start a new starter.

Not baking as such, but just acted as Mini Nico's sous chef to help her with some scotch eggs.
