I made a steak pie, with posh French shortcrust pastry, pâte brisée.
And another seeded sourdough loaf.

Looks amazing. I really want to bake this weekend. Maybe I'll make those apple muffins. I think I have everything except the brown sugar. I'm sure caster will do.

I have filo pastry, which was reduced to 9p, and a bag of wonky "ripen at home" mangoes, which cost £1. Can't wait for them to soften because I have a mango and coconut struddel planned.

That looks very good, artistically placed to boot.

I need to bake some stuff with a heap of very ripe bananas I've accumulated! I've still been trying not to bake as will just be for me & OH, but I may be able to pan some off to the in-laws as they've requested some shopping which I'll get tonight. Thinking banana & blueberry oat 'muffins' and maybe banana bread (might make them into little muffins as well for a change).

I have a very ripe fresh pineapple. OH wants pineapple upside down cake, but it seems a sin to cook a fresh pineapple. Thoughts?

Is there enough to eat some still fresh and make the upside down cake?
