Rosehip Apr 2020 4:02pm, 24 Apr 2020 15,739 posts	0 Rosehip glace cherries ruin an upside-down pudding - I use either syrup or butter and brown sugar depending which I can "spare" Been known to use raspberries instead of cherries and use a few (when I have a glut, see above!)

shyfire Apr 2020 4:16pm, 24 Apr 2020 138 posts	0 shyfire Oh you reminded me I have that book HB. My mum had a copy late 70s/early 80s and I think that was pretty much what my sister and I used to learn to cook. I was over the moon when I found the new edition a couple of years ago.
