Thanks runnyeyes  I had planned to make them this afternoon as I was expecting a couple of friends over this evening, sadly that has been cancelled due to a poorly parent (not mine) I shall make them later in the week though

I must make some for next week's parkrun! As well as my usual contribution for those who (like me) don't have a sweet tooth - Delia's veggie "sausage" rolls: deliaonline.com The pastry is very easy to make but they work perfectly well with bought pastry of course. |

They are - especially if you use a good strong cheddar and plenty of mustard powder and cayenne (or hot paprika) for a bit of a kick. A good way to use up the breadcrumbs I inevitably accumulate in the freezer from unused bread.
