GF - brilliant result, after all your doubts too.

Yes, you're right, short distances are not for me, my WAVA %'s are much better over longer distances. Not sure I'd fancy a 20 mile warm up though.

Mr. K.
Well done GF :-)

Sneaked over 60% for the 1st time this year - I do like the course & the weather was good for me too.

See you next month - maybe I will do a cheeky fly pass....

Well done Mr K 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I really like the course too. I mean that god damn awful hill at 8-9k is terrible but I like the fact after the uphill 2 miles it seems to go downhill for ages in the middle! I always find it a fast course despite the undulations

I battle the Whissendine 6ix this evening and hope to post a 60%+. Having said that it's not in the East Midlands Grand Prix series so not too disheartened if I don't manage it.

Also bearing in mind Round Sheffield Run we completed last weekend and the old legs don't feel as sharp as they should be.

Also bearing in mind it's a hilly course.

I think I've ran out of excuses.

I only race this as there is a BBQ provided by the Brownies at the end.

Oh and it's going to be hot.

Epic fail for my 10k race. Laid all my kit out on the bed, water chilling in the fridge. Had 15 minutes before I needed to get changed so sat on the sofa with a cup of coffee. I promptly fell asleep and woke up 40 minutes later. We had to collect race numbers on the night and that closed 15 mins before race start, if I'd had my race number then I think I could have made it on time.

Good luck WW for tonight.
