FF, at Southall I chased Ian Giggs but I think he was just trying to go as fast as he could as well!

It would be nice to have a pacer for 20 mins because then I wouldn't go out too fast and at the end you really know the effort needed to dip under.

I might have a go at Edenbrook on Saturday as I think it's quite fast

My best time at Keighley Parkrun was chasing the leading two women who were racing each other. Conditions were spot on for good running too, which is a big help

CW, I don't know about parkruns in London but the Great Denham parkrun in Bedford is a really good 2 lap course, it's where I got my PB of 20.29.

Storey Fields Cambridge is your friend 😜.

I got 21.14 there last week (and a 70% WAVA)

We've got plenty of fast ones around here, but you need one with fairly high numbers so you get more people to chase!

Woodley is my PB course I wonder when they have their next pacer event? Actually Dinton has pacers this week but it's not the quickest :-)

Dulwich is good in London itself - good numbers and very fast course on tarmac.

Thanks for the suggestion Curly, but that looks a pain to get to from me. It is my 30th closest NENDY apparently though!

CW, if you can get to Battersea Park on a Tuesday (I think) evening, Sri Chinmoy are doing a series of 5K races for about £7. The course is fast and the field is mostly club runners, so lots to chase.

Now those are good 5ks - also like Hyde Park Last Friday of the Month, although not completely flat it is fast as the back of the first wave is like 23 mins so one does tend to shift to keep up!

Dulwich is a pain to get to ;)
