Dragged myself out for a little run. Chest is still not right but I took my time. Did 2.1m and felt not too bad all things considered.

Entered my 1st race for the year. Northumberland Coastal Run 14 miles along the beautiful coastline can't wait!

8.29 muddy, icy miles for me this morning. Wasn't particularly quick but I've just noticed that it's my longest run since early October last year so pretty happy with that.

First outing for the leggings for me this winter which was quite welcome when my foot found an ankle deep puddle of mud that looked icy and solid until I landed on it and splashed icy cold mud up my legs!

7 for me this afternoon, actually a touch longer than I thought, but I was testing out a new route. Still on track for 500!

I managed to fit in just under 3.5 miles yesterday evening. Trying to focus on getting out regularly rather than worrying too much about what I actually do while I'm out. The plan is to get back to running regularly ready for proper training later in the year as I've finally followed through on my threat to run a marathon this year and have entered the Birmingham International Marathon :o

Hi. I'm coming back from injury and my aim is to run at least 500 miles this year and get race fit by the end of summer.

Wifey and I did a 4mile run at a quite brisk pace along the Amman Valley cycleway, which kept us warm; it was cold anyway, and there was also a strong, biting-cold Easterly wind blowing. However OH did really well - her best run for quite a few weeks, as she has been unwell quite a bit during the past three months.

Another group for another year, but whether you're aiming for 500 or more or less lets just have a nice little social group to share our goals and running antics.

Everyone is welcome, whether you don't want to set an official target or you may be aiming further but still want to pop by for a chat/offer some words of wisdom or just because the door is always open and kettle is on.

Target miles Link http://www.fetcheveryone.com/training-mileagetargets-filtered.php?category=RUN&mileage=500

to set your mileage:

Go to the Train tab

scroll down to where it says - annual mileage targets

there should be a little box to the right in red, click for run and add your mileage.

Race Planner docs.google.com

(When you go in give yourself a colour so I know you're wanting to be on the sheet so I can keep it tidy)

If you update the race planner after I've updated the header drop me an fmail or a reminder (or 2) on the thread so I know to update. Thanks
