Get well soon Nutso! Mrs. SB had a hospital appointment in Taunton today so decided to go for an like run to explore the area. Chucking it down with rain but found a place called Longrun Meadow where they hold a Park Run and did my first 5 mile run since August 2015! Loved it but think I might ache a bit tomorrow!

Well done on getting out G-G so easy to tun over in days like they've been lately. Freest efforts SB hope Mrs SB is ok.
Sorry to hear you've been lurgied Nutso still got me in it's grasp and fed up of it now. Although it has gone to just the cough and associated sore throat and chest from coughing.

Well, work had other ideas for lunchtime yesterday so no run. Trying again this lunchtime - only one run and 3 1/2 miles so far this week so not looking good for that 10 mile target

Plenty time to come to catch up Dobbie!
Definitely rubbish nutso I was gifted when I woke to a nice thick covering of snow at 5.30 that it had gone by 8.30 I'm not quite so fussed.
It has impacted on the decision not to go to the Boat Show which I'm gutted about I was looking forward to a weekend away.

well, went running with a work colleague who "forced" me to do 3.9 miles, half a minute per mile quicker that i'd have done otherwise in freezing wind - it's definitely all his fault - legs have siezed up already so goodness knows what state i'll be in in the morning - maybe a bottle of wine and curry for tea will help!

Aww no Geordie nothing worse than being ill ruining your plans, hopefully a weekend of rest will have us both on the mend. Sounds like your snow was much like ours, made driving to work chaos but once I got here went!
Dobbie Ace you earned the treats.

Nutso, you may have spelt 'horse' correctly if your voice ended up sounding like such a creature; [oh nay/neigh nutso bad as that.] However you may have been looking for a less Neddyish word like 'hoarse'. Anyway, I hope your voice soon recovers.
So many people on this thread seem to be catching all those nasty germs that seem to characterise January. I do hope you will all soon be A1 again, and running wild once more.
