If you are liking the 30 days shred, definitely also give 6 week six-pack and killer buns & thighs also a try. The latter has totally changed my butt

Fank yooo ladies :-). I am probably the person who is most surprised/shocked by the results so far - I am so glad I took that photo on Day 1, even though it made me feel really crap at the time. I am looking forward (!) to getting up early and doing level 2 & 3 tomorrow, I haven't tried that combo yet. Killer buns etc is on my most wanted list for after Shred. I think I actually properly love Jillian and my only issue is that I am going to end up looking more like natatlie (ie. Muscular!) than the other skinny one. Still, muscle will always look better than fat unless you are Jodie watsername.

Bennifer you are doing amazingly with it, wow lol at killer buns!!
am I right that you need free weights to do the 30 day shred? I don't own any and so if I buy the dvd assume i'll also need to get the right weights?

I think I read somewhere else that someone used tins of beans initially and that was heavy enough.

Ideally you would use hand weights but I am sure you would still benefit without them! I use 1kg in each hand but have just ordered 2kg to push it a bit harder :-/. I discovered that I actually own a set of 0.5kg weights too but I didn't find them in the bottom of the drawer until I was well established with the 1kg set. I was a little tempted to go back... A few people use tins or water bottles instead of 'proper' weights.

I used tins of weetcorn to start with - but they werent heavy enough - only about 250g - switched to custard which took it up to 450g - have now ordered proper weights
