forgot to say my calves really ached especially with the skipping. I'm guessing it's just lack of use but hmmmm

After reading this thread I've ordered it too and am planning on starting on Feb 1st.
It can't be any harder than fire brigade circuits can it...?

Ran 10.5 miles this morning (longest run since Nov) after doing day one of Level 1 yesterday and although my arms legs and stomach were sore it didn't seem to hamper my run. My friends did laugh at the fact that I couldn't raise my arms due to the press ups. Then as soon as I got home I did day 2, I was jelly by the end of it- but feel proper hard core! Just have to make sure that I keep it up during the week.... Bring it on!

After reading about the amazing results from the 30 day Shred I've also ordered a DVD which has been dispatched with a delivery date of the 2nd Feb. Hope it gets here the day before it would be good to start it at the beginning of the month.

Woo Hoo - sounds like it's catching on fast!! I got up extra early today and did level 1 & 3 before going to an all day work meeting (yes, on a Sunday - Grrrr). EvilPixie - my calves hurt too and it is the skipping that does it. My knees also hurt and that is the fault of the lunges - I have had to be very careful with the lunges to make sure I am not using my knees and am using my legs and glutes instead. It IS getting easier but I still don't do proper push ups and I don't suppose I ever will! Today the muscles that ache most are my lower abs. I bloomin LOVE it! Tomorrow I shall do level 3 and then go for a run and probably do the same on Tues.

FRU - part of the reason I like to Shred first and then run is that I am already warmed up from Shred and don't feel so bloomin chilly at the start of my run! I am absolutely sure that it makes me run faster because my muscles are already warmed up. There is always a gap between Shred and run though because I take my daughter to school in between so I am never still sweating. Talking of sweat - OMFG! The difference between level 2 and 3 is the extra bucket or two of sweat doing level 3! No pain, no gain...
