I did it in 2019 in 2:17 was happy with it at the time although not my best. I’d like to go under 2:14. Hoping to go out at that pace and speed up if I feel good on the day. My best is 2:07.

Good luck with your Half Marathon in November LL. Do you have a training schedule?

This morning was our first structured training session post Marathon. It comprised 4 sets of 4 x 40 seconds up hill in the forest.

I have my flu and Covid booster jabs tomorrow morning, so won't be running.

Well done HS and good luck with your jabs. I have my flu one next week.
I’m following Runners World sub 2:15 plan.

Thanks LL, I'll have a look at that. I didn't know they had training plans on the RW website. I post on the Mature Runners thread.

Good luck with the training LL.

10k with the buggy this morning, didn't get out last night as planned. Was really quite warm today. I am finding it quite hard at the moment, I think the colds I have had have really affected my lung capacity. Will give it some time and see.

Hope all goes well with everyone's jab's.

Thanks LL, we are thinking that sub 2 hours will be very difficult to achieve. It requires an average pace of 5.41 minute k's or 9.09 minute miling. My PB is 1.20.58, set way back in 1993 in the Portsmouth Half Marathon, an average pace of 6.10 minute miling.

Well done Lesley for running 10k with a buggy. This will definitely make you stronger. Some run the parkruns with buggies, many of which are really quick. I hope your lung capacity soon improves.
Thanks for your comment re the jabs.
