Keep going RFJ and keep in touch!
Ran an easy pace 6.5 miles in the forest this morning. Nice and sunny, but not too hot. We were surprised how the forest had dried out.

I managed 7.3 miles this morning setting off in the dark but hitting the trail as it got light. It was a grumble run again (hope I'm not back to my old ways LL!!) and I slogged it out. I was rested enough although I did accompany my wife on her fifteen miler early yesterday morning---I was on the bike and it was dark for the first five miles. I found the ride tiring enough, I didn't stay tightly to her heels but rode off plenty of distance in front and often then waited to do it all over again. Since her hip replacement a couple of years ago she has lost her confidence in being alone too far away from home. Good to see you here RFJ, I can understand how the mojo is lost with a static bike, you've done well to keep it up for this long. Walking is still good to do! My arm was very achy indeed for thirty six hours after my flu jab hs! The covid booster wasn't as achy as that. Same here with the drying out..pity the marathon wasn't this week!

7.3 is a decent distance Steve and we love your “occasional” grumbles 🤣 my second Irish parkrun this morning paced by my cousin.

Well done Steve, you must be getting closer to the 1000 miles now.
Sarah had both jabs this morning after our easy run. She said the flu one stung going in, but the booster was ok.
Hope you enjoyed your second Irish parkrun this morning LL with your cousin!

97 to do hs! Superb morning out there, dry, no wind, sunshine breaking through- perfect running weather. No grumbles! Programme on BBC Wales, possibly other BBC regions, ( not on BBC West/ South West)at 4.45 pm today about the grueling Dragons Back multi day mountain race. My wife's PT/coach has done it a few times including this year and figures well amongst the finishers.

Shouldn't be a problem Steve 😁
Went out for a meal in an Italian Restaurant in the village with the two Sarah's, and two other club friends last night. Didn't get home until late, but still got up this morning at the usual 6am.
Ran a solo 12k this morning in the forest wearing trail shoes for the first time in ages. I was pleased with my average pace of 10.30 minute miling

Your marathon has improved your fitness HS. Nice one Steve.
I did my 10 miles this morning over a very hilly route. All hills here impossible to avoid them.

LL, I think you are right. I felt I was running strongly this morning.
Well done for your hilly 10 miles this morning. Never try to avoid the hills!

7.13 miles forest run with the Monday group. A lovely sunny morning, but a bit chilly first thing.

A quick run after work that I almost sacked off as life is hectic but 3.25 brings across the 1200m this year mark.
Apologies I’ve not read back but I will catch up when life slows down (sometime on Thursday when I’m sat by the pool with a cocktail!)
