Managed my intervals this morning total distance 4 miles. Still struggling a bit. The pharmacist suggested a antihistamine to help with my cough. Should hit 1000 by the end of October.

Great total achieved gg and more to come! You'll pip me to the post easily LL, pity you're still struggling a bit and coughing. That's some determination to put in the intervals. Haven't done mine and didn't run on Sunday or Monday. Have had a gastric issue which flares up. So far blood tests and poo tests have not identified anything which doesn't help! I've been offered the endoscopy etc but am reluctant to have that done. Ran unusually later this morning at 9.30 instead of 6.30 am which was nice in the autumn sunshine along perfect trails.

Great work LL I am a total slacker on intervals but I’m telling myself after this weekends mini break I need to pick up more specific training again.
Hope you get answers soon Steve45

Caught back up great results hs your trail run made me nostalgic as I’ve not managed as many trails as normal this year the ground is like a mud bath never seems to dry out in places.
I have my flu jab booked for next week I expect booster will be near the end of the year.
One of my running club ladies came 2nd female at dragons back and she was First Lady at the spine challenger last year she is a formidable runner. She’s doing full spine next year. Definitely one to watch but she prefers being quietly at the back of any fuss.

Well done Geordiegirl for your 1200 miles.
Good luck with your flu Jab next week
That lady in your running club seems to have formidable potential!
Well done LL for your intervals, especially as you are still suffering with a cough. Hope the medication helps it to clear up. You should make the thousand by the end of the month.
Hope you soon discover the solutions to your problems Steve. Good that you are still running though, which hopefully will make you feel more positive.
A rest day today for me, but I have a new challenge now. My friend who ran in the London Marathon, wants to be able to run a sub 2 hour Half Marathon. This will be hard for her, and also for me, as it is several years since I last achieved it. Must compile a new training schedule 😁

Sub 2 hours I will be following your training with interest HS. I’d love a sub 2:15 at the moment. When is the half?

There isn't any particular Half Marathon in mind at the moment LL. We might just do a virtual one, which would probably be on roads. It's very unlikely that we would get anywhere near the time in the forest.
