A great hill session in the forest this morning with 2 running friends. Total mileage 8, including run out and back. The session comprised 3 sets of 45 60 and 45 seconds with jogs back down. 2 minutes recoveries between sets.

Gosh I turn my back for 5mins and so much to catch up on!!

As always great running hs, 13m and then hills - you are a machine!

Good luck with your club race tonight LL, let us know how you get on

Great 5k time FF esp as you say running against yourself

Sounds like a challenging race Lesley, but well done that is a great time! Water stations have a sneaky habit of not being where they're expected but its good that race organisers do help out - I recall some races way back when I started where they weren't guaranteed and probably why I largely rely on myself to have provisions.

Hope the cadets enjoyed the Alton 10k and well done on the multiple runs MrsB.

I have been away with work Mon & Tues expecting time to be limited I ran Monday morning and thought I'd have Tues as my rest day.... my colleague (who replaced my old role) is also a runner so we ended off out at 6am yesterday for a little run before breakfast. Glad I did it despite having a rubbish nights sleep. Busy day today so I am having today as rest day and I'll endeavour to run in the morning as we're off boating again tomorrow. I then get home Sunday and off with work again on Monday - I need a clone! (it is starting to take its toll on me and I think a balance is needed as the travelling means I'm not working and work is piling up) #exhausted

Also hope that you are ok steve45 its quiet without you popping by

Hope the knee and return to running is going well Ev

Thanks all.

Some good sessions there HS.

Good luck tonight LL.

That's a good 5k time FF.

I did 2.5 miles yesterday morning, legs felt tired so kept it short and easy.

I’ve gave up on that wish Lesley…. One gap is swiftly filled again. At least the new job is without the stress of my old one. I love the boat weekends but the time it takes out the house I sometimes wonder. Kitchen blitzed tonight which is nice I can see out the windows again🤣

Hope the legs recover soon.
