Good to hear that your chest xray was normal Steve.

Well done for your excellent marathon time MrsB

This mornings parkrun was one of my running friends 100th. She baked lots of cakes with 100 on the tops, enough for every runner and walker to have one. She also got a pb, going under 25 minutes for the first time. Makes my 28.57 seem slow, but she is 22 years younger than me!

Nice read Mrs B another GFA well within your grasp.
Good news on the X-ray Steve.

Good news Evangel there are several of us on here who won’t do 1000 miles but we’re not going anywhere.

Finally read your blog MrsB what a read and what a time! I’m sure you can get that qualifying time down.

Your parkrun sounded fab hs how lovely of your friend to do that many cakes.

Your parkrun time was brilliant I’d be over the moon with that! I did a parkrun today with a friend, after going out for a few drinks yesterday I wasn’t expecting greatness and happy enough with 31.06.

Thanks GG, it is a really friendly parkrun.
The forecast was hot and sunny, but it was cold because of a chilly wind 💨 Typically, the sun came out after we had finished.

Well done for your parkrun, that's a very respectable time.

I have a link somewhere that cited research that says that stopping running will cause more problems than carrying on… I will see if I can dig it out.

In other news, Steve45 prompted me to share my thoughts on my recent Boston marathon, so here is the link:

8 miles yesterday and 8 miles today. Today’s run has to wait until after the Alton 10 as I was running one of the water stations with the cadets. Wonderful conditions for the race - but it for much warmer later in the day.
