Well done FF, that's an impressive parkrun time.

Great running GG, that's a really good weekly mileage.

I hope the 40th party went well!

I decided not to run today, as I'm intending a long run tomorrow.

Sounds like a good plan hs. I am definitely in need of a rest day I ended off dancing the night away and didn’t get home until 2.20am - I’m too old for this life 🤣

Thanks hillstrider I was quite happy with the result, I felt strong and felt I could have given a little bit more, hopefully bodes well for the future. Enjoy your long run tomorrow.

You definitely deserve a rest day today GG, well done for a great weeks running.

Well done EP.

13 miles for me this morning, it felt a little cold and I set off a bit quicker than I expected but kept it up until I'd finished 8 miles. By this time I was running besides the river and a rower caught up with me so I decided he could be my pacer and I ran a minute a mile faster for the next 3.5 miles keeping parallel to him and then I decided to round it up to 4 miles with the last mile as a cool down. Quite pleased with that after yesterday's parkrun.

GG, I think that the late night dancing can count as cross training 😀

Well done EP.

FF, our posts crossed! Your running is going really well! That must be a first, using a rower as a pacer🤣
Two successive quality runs is impressive. I can't do that nowadays, I need recoveries after hard sessions or long runs.

I was quite surprised actually hillstrider but tomorrow will be a rest day. I have a suit fitting and a dentist appointment in the morning.

Excellent running everyone. Good to see you getting back out Steve. Impressive miles GG.

I ran intervals on Tuesday, but didn't do anything till Parkrun yesterday. I ran there and back too. Managed to get a 1.5 minutes off my time three weeks ago. Happy with that.

I'm approaching the finish - it's uphill.

Will try better this next week.
