I'm 70 miles behind the line EPix!!

Good to see you've clawed those miles back hs with a nice forest run.
Six miles FF! Splendid!
Run/walk to HR is something I've done EPix, it's surprising how low one's HR can remain when you walk so, to ensure a positive training effect you've got to put some "welly" into the walking efforts.

This is what I have noticed when walking Steve yet as soon as I run it leaps! So I'll have to "learn" how to do it.

MAF gives me 130 as a max
Garmin Zone 2 is 133

I might use Garmin for those extra couple of beats!!

My"comeback" has stalled because my foot is nowhere near right again. Hurts to walk so I'm back to patience😂.
Currently I seldom let me HR go above 130bpm EPix but feel sure that once my scan results are discussed I'll be adding plenty more🤞. If your HR leaps straight away are you maybe running too quickly, try going a bit slower and ease into the run bit.

Oh no Steve how annoying

I think I need to play as such ... I also think that knowing I need to keep my HR low I may go slower? Not that I am fast anyway!

I tend not to take too much notice of my hr, to be honest. The same with Garmin Connect, my recent 800 metres interval session was "unproductive"

Sorry I’ve been awol guys my trip to Amsterdam was pretty full on.

I ran both nights but I opted against morning runs it was pitch black at 6.30 and I felt a bit nervous to be honest lots of groups hanging around smoking smelly stuff so did my yoga on a morning.

So massively behind for the week but after last week that’s ok.

Nice to see some good running and dad to hear your foot is playing up Steve and hope those results come through soon.

Hope you’ve had/have a good safe trip back LL and you get that fall injury sorted quickly.

Off for a run with my mam and doing a photo shoot with my fellow ambassador we and Ellie may get picked for a display photo at crusts although I suspect the competition may be high.

You were very wise GG, to avoid running in the dark in Amsterdam, in fact anywhere, especially if alone.

I hope you and Ellie do get picked for a display photo at Crufts.

This morning our club members took over the organisation and marshalling of the local parkrun from the regulars. It was quite an ordeal standing for an hour at my marshalling point, until the last runner/ walker had passed. We had a large tent at the finish, selling home made cakes, fruit etc which raised £160 for the local hospice.

A solo muddy, boggy 8 miles this morning. This takes me to 30 miles this week, which is the most so far this year.

Wow that’s brilliant miles hs, I’m at dizzying heights of 14. I am normally aware of my surroundings but do run, but the free taking of drugs and some not so safe looking people (possibly made worse by reading Sex Slave about the legalised prostitution and knowing women have been kidnapped and forced into this industry) made me a little bit more wary.

However 6m done with my friend today exploring Finchale Abbey I’ll do a blog later with some pics.
