Didn't know you had a chest issue gg , hope all's well with the XRay.
Glad you're back and into the running routine again (in UK) LL, no problems then after your fall in NZ .
Great session as always there hs though I'd be surprised if your max HR could get much higher and give positive outcomes.

If I walk I find it almost impossible to get my HR above 100. I only get into useful aerobic zones at the moment by the intermittent short runs in between walks. Once it's there I can walk at a useful aerobic 120bpm...
Did another 2.3 miles which was nice in the warmer temperature. The left hip which has been "sore" for two or three years was more sore today! Bah! Still no letter from my cardiologist but it's bound to come soon

Steve I ran a steady 5 miles this morning with an average hr of 136, and max of 162. The max was during the first approx 1.5 miles which was uphill on the road to get to the forest. I'll check my hr tomorrow walking to and from the supermarket.
Well done for this mornings 2.3 miles. Sorry to hear that your left hip was sorer than usual this morning.

I hope the letter from the cardiologist arrives soon. It's certainly taking its time.

EvilPixie
just checked my log
I did a walk commute in December
average BPM 133
I only walked then
the way to work has more ups and on that occasion I didn't walk home (was going out) so not sure about walking home
I do have a part walk home which had an average of 127
Interestingly the walk in that I recorded was quicker than my initial run walk commutes I did in the January
I had to put effort in though I remember that

I ought to clarify that I was referring to my HR on the flat EPix; if I'm on a decent incline then my HR elevates well into the high 120's and to around 135.

No excuses now! CT coronary angiogram showed calcific plaque in mid LAD causing roughly 25% stenosis (ie not flowing) but no evidence of any obstructive coronary heart disease. Re lungs: overall normal lung function but with some subsegmental atelectasis.
Now no one need wonder what all that is but it looks good to me... generally age related stuff and possibly post covid re lungs.
Shan't be boring you all now with any of this from now on, thanks for all your support over the months.
The issue now is to get running properly again and put a dent in the 1000 miles!

Glad you got your results Steve. Age would be the most probable cause of the plague. Good news there's no heart disease there. Look after yourself and go back if you have any other issues.

I have done 2 runs this week, will do something over the weekend just not sure what.

Nice to see you back home LL.

Looks like everyone is having a good week 🙂.
