I know how hard it is when you want to run but can’t but hope you get sorted & back out again soon, well done on the tenacity to keep plugging away Steve.

Hope you had a nice lunch hs. I met a friend and her baby for breakfast today which was fab. Don’t know why we don’t do it more often.

I’ve been on a mission today. I have the 3 back to back darkskies run in March so yesterday ran 7.5, today was a plan to do 15 by running every hour (1m) and finishing with last 2hr slots as a club run (circa 4-5m) but while I missed 9am due to breakfast and gossiping meaning I wasn’t out soon enough to cover 1pm time zone I managed 19.4m. Loved it. Tomorrow another longer run planned so fingers crossed I manage it. After which it’s my cousins 40th party so cross training will be dancing.

Hope you all have a good weekend.

I managed a parkrun this morning slow and a bit sore but hoping it won’t slow down my recovery.

Hope everyone well.
A mile is a mile Steve.

Thanks GG we had a nice lunch. I hadn't seen one of them since pre Covid, and she has caught it twice, and then the flu! That was nice, you meeting a friend and her baby for breakfast. Its good to socialise.

Well done for your heavy training, very impressive!

Well done LL for your parkrun, but I hope that you are not "nursing" injuries.

Well done Steve for the start of your comeback.

Our local parkrun was cancelled today. They posted a picture on Facebook showing a long sheet of ice, and advised that there were other icy patches round the course. I made do with a solo road 5k in 30.13, which was quicker than last weeks 30.36, so I'm pleased with that.

Lots of posts to catch up on but some good running going on well done all.
Good you managed a run LL but do take care.
Well done Steve but take it easy.
Remarkable running GG.
A good time this morning hillstrider with no competition to chase.
I ventured off to parkrun this morning and have set a good time to chase this year, 21.29 an obvious SB as it's my first this year but it is also quicker than last years times.

Well done on doing your own run today hs and great time FF

I did 10.5 today this means I’ve done 75% of the distances I’ve got for my running event in March. Total now 130.5/100 looking forward to a rest tomorrow (44.5 for the week longest week in ages) ready for a nana nap before a 40th party tonight.
