Glad to hear that wasn't too bad Evangel. There are moments when I'm sure our angels have to exert themselves more than others!

We can always pray, ๐Ÿ™, FF!

Glad that you are ok Evangel! That fall could have been so much worse. I've seen so many people walking on the icy pavements, with both hands in their pockets. If they fell, they wouldn't be able to save themselves using their hands and arms.

No running for me today, but I will be walking to the supermarket to buy a paper.

Oh no Evangel and LL, hopefully the bruises will heal quickly. Do let us know your results Evangel and enjoy Tasmania LL.

๐Ÿคž The Achilles issue isn't too serious FF.

A few extra days off is maybe wise Steve, especially with the weather being that cold. We had the same.

I didn't get a run on Thursday, it was a sheet of ice outside and I had a funeral. I did 10k yesterday, my longest since November. It was good. Most of the ice had gone, and has gone today. So glad. Although the wee man did slip in a puddle this afternoon (ice under the surface) he's ok, just wet trousers.

Well done Pix ๐Ÿ™‚. Enjoy the rest of your day off HS. Sounds like a fun weekend GG.

Well done Lesley for your 10k. Good news that most of the ice had gone, and gone completely yesterday. Sorry to hear about the wee man's slip in an icy puddle, but good that no harm done.

It was colder than ever this morning, so I actually wore my Ron Hill Tracksters. I ran 18k (11.18 miles) multi terrain with the Monday Group. The roads were icy, and the grass and trails were frosty with the pools either side frozen. That was my longest run for quite some time.

Well done HS. It's nice running on mixed surfaces when the weather is like this!

It's an interesting mix of ice, wet, muddy, and clear around here. And that's just on the pavements!
