Thanks everyone for your encouragement!
This was the first 10 mile multi terrain race held by the Oakhaven Hospice. Previous races have been half marathons. It was a tough course with very uneven terrain and quite a few long, strength sapping hills. I ran with a friend, and we gradually worked our way through the field, and finished with my trademark sprint to the finish. My chip time was 1.42.55, which I was quite pleased with considering the conditions. The results aren't out yet, but when they are, I will post them on here.

I'm knackered now and very tired 💤

HS, That’s a fab run especially on the terrain.

No wonder you’re knackered. Rest up tomorrow.

HS, well done on what was clearly a somewhat challenging race.

GG, thanks for asking. I'm still proceeding with great caution, gradually increasing the distance, but staying at a VERY easy pace, and having a few walk breaks. I hope to run again tomorrow.

Good news Evangel. I’m in Ireland at my dads this week it’s so tough to run here and very hilly. Did a little 4 this morning in brutal weather.
